Abstract
This paper presents a simple theoretical equation of maximum efficiency for contactless power transfer systems. Conventional theoretical equations are composed of many factors such as transformer's resistances and inductances. The proposed equation is composed only of coupling factor k and Q factors. This shows ideas to improve efficiency of contactless power transfer systems.
