The author developed a wet type super atomizer "NanoVater. This instrument can break, for example, cerium oxide particles having a mean diameter of 41.8μm to 0.126μm. The break-down of particles is caused by strong turbulent flow inside the system. The atomization performance depends on the pressure in the nozzle, number of pass and concentration of slurry.<br>A double plunger type instrument based on the atomizer was also developed. The instrument can use as a micro reactor. It can synthesize, for example, vaterite-type calcium carbonate. The size of the calcium carbonate can be controlled by flow speed of the liquid in the nozzle.
