Abstract

In robot sensors and security systems, both range and velocity to a moving target are very important. In this paper, we propose a method to estimate both range and velocity based on the phase interference of subband-divided and time-delayed impulse sound to a moving target in a short range. Evaluation experiments revealed that the proposed method was valid because the proposed method was measurable both range and velocity to a moving target.
