抄録

Morphological change of hemocytes with cytoplasmic deposits of kuruma prawn Marsupenaeus japonicus were examined by electron microscopy. The hemocytes were not hyaline cell, but granulocytes. The granules of the granulocytes were exocytosed (degranulated) in vitro. Previous investigators reported the hemocyte type as hyaline cell. They would observe the degranulated granulocytes. Some granulocytes without cytoplasmic deposits also showed degranulation.
