Abstract
Oxygen incorporation into infinite-layer structure compounds SrFeO2 and CaFeO2 has been investigated by thermogravimetry analysis. Oxygen begins to be incorporated into SrFeO2 at low temperatures like 100 °C, and the incorporation-reaction rate in SrFeO2 is much larger than that in CaFeO2. A larger structural framework has advantages in regard to the low activation energy for the oxygen incorporation reaction.
