抄録

Electron beams with moderate energies, 0.4 to 2keV, were injected for 5ms into a small tokamak WT-2 by using the plasma anode method. The injection into a currentless plasma of a density 2.5×10^<18>m^<-3> at a toroidal field 1.1T formed a toroidal current 4kA, which was nine times the injected beam current. Also, an inductively produced toroidal current was sustained during the injection.
