Urinary and fecal incontinence in a 22-year-old mildly retarded male suspected of having a neurogenic bladder and a 26 year-old severely retarded autistic male with an irritable bladder were successfully treated with a combination of Azrin's DPT package and Uchida's modified DBT package, and a variation of Kimmel's RCT. Bladder and bowel continence were maintained throughout a 2-year follow-up period. In addition, dramatic positive side-effects were observed in some domains of the AAMR Adaptive Behavior Scale. This combination treatment appears to be a very rapid solution for severe urinary and fecal incontinence. Several interesting features of the data are discussed.
