The purpose of this study is to make clear the actual conditions of parents circles for child care by investigation. Recently, in Japan, for mothers, to nurse a nervous breakdown caused by the stress of child care, to communicate with other parests, and to play and let ther children play together with other parents and their children, many parents circles have been organized. According to our investigation, we found that parents are content with the circles not by having their children play with other children but by their communicating with other parents, and that parents circles are usuful to encourage mothers in caring their children.
