Abstract
A new ozonizer to product ozone gases by using phase-arrayed ac power sources which are supplied to drive discharges among multiple electrodes has been proposed. Fundamental characteristics of the ozonizer are described about both structure of multiple electrodes and circuit of ac power sources, comparing with usual methods. It is possible to develop an economical ozonizer with high efficiency and high capacity by employing phase-arrayed ac power sources with a low frequency, where silent and surface discharges are generated simultaneously.
