Abstract

We calculate and reproduce the light curve of microquasars GRO J1655-40 by using an accretion disk model with a geometrically thick side, instead of an ellipsoidal model. In the ellipsoidal model the existence of an accretion disk is forbidden, since the central part of the accretion disk is so bright that it is inconsistent with the observation. In the disk model with a thick side, on the other hand, the central part is occulted by the thick side, and the light curve can be explain the mutual eclipse of a companion and the thick side. For microquasar GRO J1655-40, the plausible parameters are follows : the black-hole mass M_X = 6±1M_<⊙>, the disk side temperature T_<side>~6700 K, the disk side thickness δ=20±5°, and the distance d=4±0.4 kpc.
