抄録

Dithiocarbamates of type Ar-N(R)CS₂R' or xanthates of type Ar-OCS₂R were converted into Ar-N(R)CF₃ or Ar-OCF₃, respectively, by oxidative desulfurization-fluorination. Electro-optical properties of liquid crystals containing-N(R)CF₃ or -OCF₃ group will be discussed. They are shown to be stable components of nematic liquid crystals mixture.
