g-factor of 1127.8keV,2'+ second excited state in 106Pd

Abstract

The g-factor of the 2^<'+>, second excited state in ^<106>Pd has been measured by using the integral reversed field method of the perturbed angular correlations. For this purpose the internal hyperfine fields at palladium in iron host were used. The value of the g-factor obtained is g=0.385±0.115. The present measured value analysed in the light of hydrodynamical model confirmed that 2^<'+>, second excited state of ^<106>Pd is a member of triplet of the two phonon vibrational.
