抄録

The continuum and slip choked flows of low density air through a narrow parallel-plate channel with the adiabatic walls, were numerically and experimentally studied. A higher approximation precision for the choked flow condition of low density gas was obtained by modifying Kashiwagi's numerical method based on the two-dimensional compressible viscous boundary layer equations. The calculated discharge coefficient, pressure and surface temperature distribution along the channel agreed well with the experimental results. And, as the upstream tank pressure dropped down, the numerical results of friction coefficient Cf and recovery factor r approach the asymptotic values (Cf×Re0=96 and r=Pr) corresponding to the imcompressible developed flow.
