933 Vibration Analysis of Full-clamped Arbitrarily Laminated Plate

Abstract

Free vibration analysis of arbitrarily laminated plate with all four edges clamped is performed by using Galerkin method. Transverse shear effects are taken into consideration based on the first order shear deformation theory. Comparisons of the present results with those published in the literature are made for various cases with very good agreements. Some typical numerical results are given for a 2-layered arbitrarily laminated plate with various thickness ratios ranging from moderately thick to thin.
