A numerical simulation method of the disastrous typhoon, which strikes Japanese Main Islands, by Monte Carlo technique is proposed. The simulated typhoon pressure patterns have synthesized such that they show the same characteristics of the typhoons which struck Japanese Main Islands from 1951 to 1985. By extending simulation period to 10,000 years, the maximum expectable extreme of wind speed at any point in the typhoon area of Japan can be evaluated. An example of expected wind storm statistics for the Akashi Straits has been shown.
