Abstract

移動体通信に対するニーズは多様化しており，さらに効率の良い通信方式の開発を目指して世界中でさかんに研究が行われている．本研究では，移動端末の発着信に関する移動体通信ネットワークにおける位置登録コストを端末の移動パターンを考慮して最適化する．端末の移動時の振舞いを表す際，現実性の高い4方向移動モデルを考案し，その計算アルゴリズムを新たに提案する．また，数値実験を行い，我々が新たに提案したモデルとその計算アルゴリズムの有効性を示す．

This paper studies the location management problem for a mobile-phone network.The location management problem is formulated as an optimization problem.We propose the practical ``four-direction model'' as the movement model of mobile terminals.The greedy algorithm is used to provide a good solution of the optimization problem.We conduct experiments using the ``four-direction model'',and show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
