抄録

情報処理技術の応用が最も期待できる分野の1つに，コンテンツ系の領域がある．なかでも，エンタテインメントやアート，デザインなどメディアに関連した領域は，産業的にも大きな期待を集める領域と考えられるが，国内での学会や大学における研究領域として取り上げられることは多くない．その要因には，1）学術としての取扱いの難しさ，2）評価の難しさ，が考えられる．本稿では，いくつかの事例を紹介したうえで，本領域の重要性と今後取り組んでいくうえでの必要事項について論じる．

One of the most promissing application fields of Information technology is contents production.Especially, multimedia fields in relation to entertainment, art, design, is promissing in marketingsuccess.Japanese academic sosieties or universities, while, seem not to be actively engaged in this area.The cause of this phenomenon is regarded as 1) difficulty in dealing with academic activities and2) difficulty in evaluation. This paper is going to discuss the importance of the studiesand a way to be imvolved in this area, illustrating the initiative examples.
