Abstract
We earlier proposed a parametric motor using a laminated Si-Fe core. This paper concerns the relationships between inner stator shape and performance characteristics of the motor. Torque-speed characteristics of the motor, output, and efficiency were significantly improved by giving the stator a hybrid asymmetric shape.
