Abstract

形状記憶合金であるTiNi合金中のニッケルを精密に定量する方法としてイオン交換分離/電解重量法を検討した.硝フッ化水素酸酸性とした試料溶液から,陽イオン交換によってニッケルをチタンから分離した後,アンモニアアルカリ性として定電流でニッケルを電解した.実用材料に含まれる程度のマンガン,クロム,鉄などの不純物は定量値に影響しないことを確認した.定量精度は相対標準偏差で0.00<SUB>9</SUB>%であった.

An ion-exchange separation/electrogravimetric method for the determination of nickel in TiNi alloy has been developed. A sample weighing about 1 g is dissolved in a mixture of 20 ml of water, 4 ml of hydrofluoric acid and 2 ml of nitric acid. The solution is made up to 100 ml with water and passed through a cation-exchage column. Nickel is retained on the column while titanium is passed out as a fluoride complex. After washing the column with 60 ml of 1 M hydrofluoric acid and with 40 ml of 0.05 M sulfuric acid, nickel is eluted by 70 ml of 3 M sulfuric acid. After addition of excess ammonium hydroxide to the eluate, nickel is electrodeposited on a platinum cathode at a constant current ( 2 mA/cm<SUP>2</SUP>) for 4 h. Recovery of nickel from a synthetic sample (55Ni/45Ti) solution was 100.03<SUB>0</SUB>% (<I>n</I>=10). The standard deviation of six replicate determinations of nickel in the TiNi alloy was 0.00<SUB>5</SUB>%.
