Abstract

文化人類学的なフィールドワークによって得られる多様なデータをパーソナルコンピュータを用いて現地で一次処理するための支援ツールの開発を試みた。開発の為の着眼点は生物としての親族関係を基礎にそれぞれの社会特有の関係を目的を絞ってで引き出す事を可能にする事。未記入や矛盾するデータを前提として実際的な解決となるグラフィック表示を行う事。研究者が必要に応じてカスタマイズ可能な事。作成中のデータベースの全体像がモニター可能で、グラフィック表示、データベースの双方から全体像のポジションと個人データの確認が可能な事である。ハンドヘルドコンピュータで使用する事を前提に一般的なプラットフォームとしてMacOS、Windowsを選択。取材現地での作業を支援し、データベース作成を充実したものになるよう配慮した。ネットワークに発展可能なようまとめつつある。We are finishing to create a program for processing first hand data collected from anthropological field research. As the practical solution in field work, we considered to start from visualization of simple biological rules. Complex kinship relations like categolical relations are supposed to be enhanced in the program based on biological rules. To show the truthfulness of this assumption the program is designed to include the folowing. acquiring data from source person. The program can proceed with vague data. It is poissible to customize as you required. Program can present the macro view to show the relationship among groups of people. We choose the hanheld computer using MacOS or Windows. We would help the field worker in collecting the data. We anticipate making this data available over network.
