抄録

Agricultural damage was caused by cool summer, heavy rainfall and typhoons of 9307 and 9313 in the western part as well as in the northern part of Japan in 1993. Heavy rainfall from July 31 to August 6 caused many failures of shirasu slopes and inundation of rivers. The typhoon 9313 damaged crops and green houses in the southern part of Kyushu on september 3. The moneyloss in the agriculture of Kyushu district by such unusual meteorological phenomena exceeded 265 billion yen.
