Abstract

可視光作動型二酸化チタン光触媒を助剤とした低濃度の過酸化水素水漂白剤を作製しモデル化した着色エナメル歯牙表面を用いて低輝度可視光照射下における漂白の効果について観察した.ハイドロキシアパタイトの焼結体を作製し,得られた焼結体をメチレンブルー水溶液とテトラサイクリン水溶液に浸漬し着色させた.可視光作動型二酸化テタン光触媒含有の過酸化水素水漂白剤を着色したハイドロキシアパタイト表面に塗布し,可視光をLED発光装置により照射した.漂白前後の色調の変化を調べた結果, L*, a*, b* 値は漂白前に比べて変化した.特に青色光や緑色光の可視光を照射するとL*値の増加が認められ非照射時より明度が増すことが分かった.以上のように可視光作動型二酸化チタンを助剤とすることにより,従来よりも低濃度の過酸化水素水漂白剤を用いても可視光を照射することによって着色歯の漂白が行えることが示唆された.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the bleaching effect of a mixed paste of diluted hydrogen peroxide and a visible-light-responsive-titanium dioxide photocatalyst. Dense hydroxyapatite ceramic disks were soaked in aqueous solutions of either methylene blue or tetracycline hydrochloride. The surface of the stained hydroxyapatite ceramic specimen was covered with the paste, and then visible light was irradiated with a LED. We measured the coloration of the hydroxyapatite surface before and after bleaching. All of the L*, a*, and b* values were considerably changed by bleaching. In particular, the L* values of the samples bleached with blue and green light irradiation increased more than those without irradiation, indicating greater brightness. The results implied that bleaching agents with visible-light-responsive-titanium dioxide photocatalyst could bleach stained teeth more efficiently than other methods with low power visible light irradiation, using more diluted hydrogen peroxide solution.
