Abstract

象牙質接着性レジンシステムから溶出するモノマーと細胞毒性の関係を調べた.L株細胞が培養皿底面にコンフルエントになるようEagleのMEM(10%FCS)を3ml加えて培養した.プライマーとボンディング材とコンポジットレジンをガラス管中に充〓し, 培養液中央に浸漬し, 24時間後に細胞毒性を調べ, 培養液中に溶出するモノマーを高速液体クロマトグラフィーで測定した.その結果, プライマーと未重合のボンディング材ならびにコンポジットレジンは著しい細胞毒性を示した.しかし, ボンディング材ならびにコンポジットレジンは光照射後は細胞毒性が減少した.十分に硬化したレジンは細胞毒性が極めて小さくなるか, 消失した.しかし, 微量のモノマーが検出された.L株細胞はレジンから溶出するHEMAとTEGDMAに刺激された.

The relation between monomers eluted from resin systems and cytotoxicities was investigated by cell culture tests.L-cells in 3ml of Eagle's MEM supplemented with 10% FCS were cultured to confluent sheaths in a tissue culture dish.Primers, bonding agents and composite resins filled in glass tubes were immersed in the center of the tissue culture medium.After 24 hours cultivation, cytotoxicities were evaluated, and the amounts of monomers eluted into the medium were measured by high-performance liquid chromatography.The following results were obtained.The primers, uncured bonding agents and composite resins showed intensive cytotoxicity.However, the cytotoxicities of bonding agents and composite resins were decreased as the light illumination time increased.Adequately cured bonding agents and composite resins showed less or no cytotoxicity.However, small amounts of monomers were detected.L-929 cells were stimulated by HEMA and TEGDMA released from resins.
