Abstract
Chronic osteomyelitis with proliferative periostitis, which is a response of subperiosteal bone deposition induced by inert stimulation or low grade bacterial infection, is generally called Garre's osteomyelitis. We described here clinical features and surgical treatment for three cases of Garre's osteomyelitis of the mandible occurring in an 11-year-old male, a 9-year-old and a 17-year-old female, including discussions based on literature.
