Abstract

だ円ビームホーンを実現するため,方形開口ホーンの側面のみを多段ステップ状に変化させたテーパ形状をもつ扇形ホーンを提案している.そのテーパ形状の設計は,放射パターンで定義した評価関数による最適化手法を用いて行っており,直交2偏波で所望のだ円ビームを実現している.本法を用いた例として,9.5-10.5GHzにおいて-10dBビーム幅が長軸方向で33°,短軸方向で90°のだ円ビームを有する扇形ホーンを設計し,長軸方向励振,短軸方向励振の両方で,所望帯域において反射電力及び交差偏波成分を低く抑えながら直交2偏波でだ円ビームが得られることを数値計算結果より示している.

This paper proposes a sectral horn antenna for an elliptical beam, of which the sidewall consists of multiple-step structure. The sidewall configuration is designed by the optimization technique combined with the mode-matching technique and the aperture-field method. As an example, we have designed the sectral horn antenna with an elliptical beam at 9.5-10.5 GHz. The designed horn has the radiation pattern with -10dB beam width of 33°in the major axis and 90°in the minor axis. Also, the horn realizes both the low reflection power and the low cross-polar level in the specified band, for both major-axis and minor-axis excitations. The effectiveness of the present horn and the design method is verified numerically.
