Abstract

サファイア円柱を導体円筒空洞内に対称的な配置して構成される遮へい形サファイア円柱共振器のTE_01δ>モードについて、導体損によるQ値を最大にする共振器寸法を決定した。空洞としてYBCO高温超伝導体を用いた場合この共振器は、12GHz、77Kにおいて、比誘電率24の低損失BMTセラミクスをYBCO高温超伝導空洞内に配置して構成されるTM_01δ>モード高Q誘電体共振器に比べて約3倍の無負荷Q値(Q_u)が実現できる。銅めっき黄銅製空洞を用いて構成したサファイア共振器の温度特性を測定した結果、9.8GHz、77KにおいてQ_u=144,000、共振周波数の温度係数-6.6ppm, Kという優れた特性が得られた。

A shielded dielectric rod resonator operating with the TE_01δ> mode which is constructed,by centering a sapphire rod in a cylindrical conducting cavity is designed to obtain the maximum value of Q-factor due to the Conductor loss.The unloaded Q,Q_u value calculated for this resonator constructed with a YBCO superconducting cavity is about three times as high as that for a TM_01δ> mode high-Q dielectric rod resonator which is constructed by centering a low-loss BMT ceramic rod with relative permittivity of 24 in a YBCO superconducting cavity,at.12GHz and 77K.When a measured values for this sapphire resonator were Q_u= 144,000 and a temperature coefficient of resonant frequency,τ_f=-6.6ppm, K at 9.8GHz and 77K.
