抄録

The paper describes generation of modulation electron beam at the frequency ranging from microwavd to teraherlz wave from field emitter array (FEA). The modulation beam at microwave and millimeter wave regions is emitted by applying the microwave semiconductor technology to the FEA. In addition, the modulation beam as high as a THz wave is generated from a esmiconductor FEA by irradiation of femtosecond laser pulse sand frequency-offset two pump lascrs. The paper discusses high power generation of an electromagnetic wave with high efficiency at the above frequency region using the modulation beam.
