Abstract

いくつかの地表面の粗さにおいて、植生からのマイクロ波後方散乱が植生密度増加と共に、どのように変わるかを調べた。またその結果を用いて、偏波度が植生密度評価の指標の1つとして有効であることを示した。

Using a C-band scatterometer,polarimetric backscatterings of vegetation on different rough surfaces have been measured. Dependencies of backscattering coefficients on vegetation density are evaluated.Based on this result,Correlation between vegetation density and degree of polarization to estimate vegetation density is discussed.
