抄録

磁気カードやフロッピーデイスク等の単純な記憶媒体を利用して,ネットワーク的にも安全で,かつユーザの過失に対しても耐性のある個人認証法を提案する。本方式の特徴は,ユーザのパスワードを2つに分割し,片方を磁気カードに,もう片方をユーザに記憶させる点にある。秘密分散共有の技法を利用することによって,正当なユーザと正当なカードの両方が揃ったときにかぎり元のパスワードが再構成できるよう分割を行うため,たとえカードの中身が解読されたとしても認証法全体の安全性には影響しない。本方式の定義を与え,いくつかの応用例を述べる。
A simple but secure personal authentication method, named declare-next authentication method is proposed. The method uses simple storage devices such as magnetic cards and floppy disks to establish robustness against network attacks and faults of users. One of the originality of the method is that, by using techniques of secret sharing scheme, a user's password is divided into two pieces, one of which is stored in the user's card and the other is kept in the user's mind. The original password is computable if and only if both of the card and the user are presented. We give definition of the method, and describe applications of it.
