Abstract
In this paper,we describe the fingerprint verification methods and these-evaluation.The purpose is an application to security system instead of the key of car,home,hotel and so on.Two- dimensional discrete fourier transform(2DDFT)spectrum and two- dimensional group delay spectrum(2DGDS)are used as feature parameters.Therefore,the pattern matching is done in the frequency area.First,we report the useful data size for fingerprint verification using 2DDFT spectrum.On the.other hund,we found 2DGDS is superior when the optimal threshold is used in each indivisual. Finally,we show that the efficiency of selecting reference pattern was indicated by the higher verification rate.
