Abstract

Blissoxenos esakii gen. et sp. nov. parasitic on Macropes obnubilus (DISTANT), Iphicrates spinicaput SCOTT, and Dimorphopterus japonicus (HIDAKA) (Hemiptera : Lygaeidae) and Triozocera minor sp. nov. on Geotomus pygmaeus (DALLAS) (Hemiptera : Cydnidae) are described from Japan. The systematic position of the former is discussed and a new subfamily, Blissoxeninae, is erected for the genus in the family Corioxenidae. The new subfamily is related to Corioxeninae and also to Halictophagidae in respect to their morphological characters.
