Abstract

1) 京都に於いてブランコケムシより脱出した、ブランコヤドリバチの繭より得られた寄生蜂は、ヒメバチ首科、トビコバチ首科、シリホソクロバチ首科に屬する10科17種に上つた。しかし此等の寄生蜂の中には、ブランコヤドリバチの第二又はより高次の寄生蜂が含まれ、又直接ブランコヤドリバチを寄主とするものでも、同時に他の第一次寄生蜂をも寄主として、第一次寄生蜂であると同時に第二次又はより高次の寄生蜂である場合もあると推測される。2) ブランコヤドリバチの此等の寄生蜂により攻撃される率は、第一化に於いては38.6%, 第二化期に於いては43.4%に上る。3) 此等の寄生蜂の主なものについて、總寄生率、繭群内寄生率、繭群寄生率に分けて考えて見た。その結果各寄生蜂によつて繭群内寄生率、繭群寄生率に著しい差があるが、同一種の寄生蜂の繭群内寄生率と繭群寄生率との高低の間には、各寄生蜂を通じて何等の連關をも認める事が出来なかつた。4) 一つの種の寄生蜂で、繭群内寄生率、繭群寄生率の各々につき、プランコヤドリバチの第一化期と第二化期とを攻撃する場合、及び同じ時期でも、環境條件を異にするに従つて、可成の差が認められ、而も兩者の變化について、一定の聯關は認められなかつた。このことは繭群内寄生率及び繭群寄生率の兩者は共に外的要因に影響されて變化するが、その變化の量及び方向はその要因により區々であり、且つ同一要因についても繭群内寄生率と繭群寄生率との變化の間に一定の聯關を有しない様であることを示唆するものと考えられる。5) 各寄生蜂についてブランコヤドリバチの羽化後、寄生蜂の羽化までの日數を基礎として、各寄生蜂の卵より成蟲に至るまでに要する期間を推定して見た。その結果によると、各寄生蜂の推定發育期間は凡そ17日乃至23日で、ブランコヤドリバチの第一化期の羽化より第二化期の羽化までの期間平均23日とよく一致する。

In the present paper, I wish to report the result of the observations on the faunal complex of the parasitic wasps attacking Apanteles liparidis Bouche, one of the most important parasite of the gypsy-moth. 1) Number of cocoons of A. liparidis reared from the caterpillars of the gypsy-moth in the vicinity of Kyoto. The parasitic wasps which are obtained from the cocoons of A. liparidids were 17 species. These wasps belong to eight families of Chalcidoidea and one family of Ichneumonoidea and Proctotrypoidea. It seems that these wasps are not all the primary parasites of A. liparidis, but some of these are the secondary parasites or the ones in higher order, also some of the primary parasites become secondary or higher order at the same time. 2) The percentage of the individual number of A. liparidis attacked by se wasps is 38.6% at the first generation of A. liparidis, and 43.4% at the ond generation. 3) Conveniently, the percentages of the parasitism is calculated by the folwing three categories; (A) the percentage of the number of parasitized cocoons the total number of the cocoons, (B) the percentage of the number of the parasitized cocoons to the total number of the cocoons within the cocoon masses attacked by the wasps and (C) the percentage of the number of the cocoon masses attacked by the wasps to the total number of the cocoon masses. It found that these percentages differ greatly in all of the species observed and there is no constant relationships between the values of the percentage of (B) (C) for the same species of parasitic wasps. 4) The differences of the percentage of (B) is observed with the same spies of the wasps when compared with the value of the first generation and that the second generation of the host and also compared with the values obtained 〓m two different habitat. This fact is also observed on the percentage of (C). 〓reover, there is no regular difference between the change of the percentage (B) and that of (C). compared with the value obtained from the first genetion of the host and the second, and with the values obtained from two different habitats. It seems that each of the percentage of (B) and (C) changes indehdently with the influence of the outer environmental factors. 5) The durations from the deposition of the egg to the emergence of these wasps, are determined using the interval from the day of the emergence of the to that of the emergence of the wasps. By this observation it is found that the durations of the development of sps deviate 17 to 23 days for different species. The duration of development A. liparidis in the last June was about 23 days. From these facts, it is con〓ded that there is higher synchronism between the parasitic wasps and the host.
