Abstract

我々は,ビジョンチップ(処理機能をもつCMOSイメージセンサ)を用いた新しい光無線LANシステムの開発を目的として,0.8μm BiCMOSプロセスにより光無線LAN用ビジョンチップを試作し動作検証を行った.試作した8×8光無線LAN用ビジョンチップアレイよりイメージセンサモードのAPS(active Pixel sensor)動作,高速光通信モードのフォーカス読み出し動作,モード切換動作をそれぞれ確認した.試作したTZ(trans-impedance)アンプ内蔵画素TEGより-3dB帯域で200MHz程度までの光信号増幅動作を確認した.

We proposed and designed a new vision chip (CMOS image sensor with intelligent functions) for optical wireless LAN( local area network) system using 0.8μm BiCMOS process, and demonstrated it's basic operations. We fabricated an 8×8 pixel array chip, and demonstrated that it works both in the APS (active pixel sensor) mode and in the high speed focused readout mode. The fabricated test pixel circuit with TZ (trans-impedance) amplifiers shows that -3dB bandwidth was 200MHz.
