Abstract

走査線3本で位相が2π変化するように色ストライプフィルターを斜めに配列することにより, 2π/3の位相関係で周波数インタリーブすることができることを見出し, 変調赤・青信号を非変調の輝度信号と周波数帯域を共有しうる2π/3周波数インタリーブ撮像方式を提案し, 搬送波と周波数成分の関係を明らかにした.また高輝度被写体のとき搬送色信号を除去する着色防止方式を提案し, 単管式カラーテレビカメラの性能を向上した.

Theoretical and experimental results are presented of a new color television pickup system using 2π/3 frequency interleaving method. This system uses two kinds of inclined stripe-filters whose phases make 2π radian difference in three scanning lines. The modulated red and blue signals of the interleaved carrier frequencies, occupying the same frequency bandwidth, are generated at the output of the image pickup tube. These signals are electrically separated by a comb-filter using 1H and 2H delay lines. A new circuit system for preventing quasi-coloring is also presented to contribute greatly to the improvement of the single tube color television camera performance.
