Abstract

In this paper, the outline of the continuous energy Monte Carlo code MCNP and the fundamental radiation particle simulation method, the weight window method as typical one of variance reduction techniques, application samples, research subjects are described. The relative error is below 0.1 % for criticality analysis and 2-3% for other.
