Imaging properties of the system which we proposed in the last symposium are studied. The transmitter-receiver system and the image-reconstruction algorithm have been improved. We can obtain images good enough for theoretically discussing the quality. We derive an equation of the resolution in the system which seems reasonable for the image obtained experimentally. We verify the effect of the para-axial approximation on the image to explain the darkness near the periphery of the scanned region.
