抄録
Pressure generation was attempted by multianvils made of sintered diamond in "6–8 type" double-stage system, and the results were compared with those by WC–Co anvils. Pressure smoothly increased up to 22 GPa (the maximum pressure examined) with the increasing load of the press, whereas plastic deformation of WC–Co anvils resulted in a remarkable decrease in efficiency at pressures higher than ∼15 GPa.
