抄録

Several concepts and assessing methods on the interaction in combination of chemicals, including insecticides, were reviewed. Joint toxic action in insecticides, which was proposed by BLISS and developed by FINNEY, PLACKETT and others, has been adopted more or less for the assessment of interaction in herbicide combinations. Various approaches in herbicide combinations were discussed, e.g. those of GOWING, COLBY, NAGASAWA, CRAFTS and TAMMES. The isobole method of TAMMES might be practically most useful.
