Three-dimensional nonlinear time-periodic solutions to the incompressible Navier-Stokes equation are investigated numerically for rotating plane Couette flow. Direct numerical simulations as well as Newton Raphson computations are performed to obtain stable and unstable periodic solutions. The periodic solutions which arise from oscillatory instabilities of the steady tertiary solution, are tracked with the rotation rate Ω and the Reynolds number R_ε being changed separately or simultaneously. It is found that the periodic solution extends its existence to a non-rotating state (Ω=0) corresponding to a three-dimensional periodic motion even in plane Conette flow. The spatio-temporal structures of the periodic motion are shown at Ω=0.
