抄録

We have found a metamagnetic behavior which brings about the conversion between hard-and easy-axes magnetization in Rcu_2 (R=Ce, Pr, Dy, Tb). The quadrupole moment <O^2_2> under the magnetic field plays an important role in the metamagnetic transition.
