抄録

The effects of six commercial metal adhesive primers on the bond strengths of a pour type denture base resin to Co-Cr alloy were evaluated using the shear bond test. METALPRIMER, METALPRIMER II and CESEAD OPAQUE PRIMER were significantly more effective than the other primers used in this investigation. The pretreatment of polishing metal surface by air abrasion using 50μm aluminum oxide particles before applying primer must be very effective and indispensable for all primers. In applying METALPRIMER or METALPRIMER II, roughening metal surface was not necessarily effectual.
