The shape-memory alloy and the super-elastic alloy have the attenuation characteristic by hysteresis and the temperature dependence characteristic of the rigidity. Use of the shape-memory alloy as the vibration control material is often thought by using these characteristics. In this research, the super-elastic alloy is used for a material of the dynamic vibration absorber. The hysteretic characteristic of super elastic alloy is described by the Preisach-type model. The Preisach operator was developed to model hysteresis in magnetism. The super-elastic alloy has the hysteresis characteristic and the temperature dependence characteristic of the rigidity. The vibration controlling effect is verified by the experiment and the simulation by controlling temperature.
