Abstract

“Mercantilism” is often discussed generally and broadly without being restricted to a particular era or area. This paper, however, focuses on two specific aspects of mercantilism: the aspects of policy and theory. Through this focus will be seen how mercantilism has changed in various countries (especially in France and England) and according to policy and era.
