Abstract

In this paper, we present an extension of the charge simulation method, a solver for the problems of partial differential equations, to the problems of partial differential equations with spatial periodicities, especially to the problems of numerical conformal mappings of periodic structure domains and the problems of viscous flows (Stokes flows) past obstacles in a periodic array. In our method, we present approximate solutions expressed by linear combinations of the periodic fundamental solutions so that the solutions including periodic functions are approximated accurately. Some numerical examples show the effectiveness of our method.
