抄録

The purpose of this study is to produce a useful idea for researchers interested in eval uating and improving accountig curricula. Therefor, this paper has two objectives. First, the quality and characteristics of accounting education and research at the University of Illinois, U. S. A. will be explained. Second, based on that, examine ways to improve student learning in higher education. Findings reached will be that a balanced program of general education, business core, and major study is dispensable for accounting education.
