The goal of this study is to engage in analysis concerning the park plans of Taipei City under the Japanese reign and how the plans influence the present park plans. The analysis result shows: (1) The process of park plans of Taipei City before the Second World War can be divided to 4 stages. (2) The park plans of Taipei City under the Japan reign is almost continued after the Second World War. (3) The construct of parks of Taipei City is influence by the park plans of Japanese reign in the park plan, the plan idea and the system.
