Abstract

瀬戸内海沿岸域に位置する兵庫県明石市の半自然海岸および人工海岸を対象に,成立する海浜植生の種組成を予測した。また,周辺域に残存する自然海岸に生育する海浜植生を復元目標として,その種組成および立地環境をこれらの人的影響を受けた海岸と比較することで,そこに成立した植生を正準判別分析により評価した。半自然海岸および人工海岸では,実際に出現した種の出現種数が予測に比較して小さく,復元度合いが小さいと評価された。しかし,これらの全てで海浜植物の定着が見られ,人的影響を受けた海岸においても,生物多様性を保全する機能を持つことが示唆された。また,海浜植物のうち,海水に浮遊可能な種子を持つ種は,自然海岸,半自然海岸,人工海岸のいずれにも出現したが,浮遊が困難と考えられる種は,自然海岸のみにしか出現しなかった。これらのことから,海を媒介して生育域を拡大できない海浜植物種およびその生育域の保全の重要性が示唆された。

The plant species structure of the semi-natural and artificial coasts in Akashi City, Hyogo Pref., along the Seto Inland Sea were estimated. Additionally, we made a restoration goal of the coastal vegetation on natural coasts near Akashi City and evaluated the established vegetation on the coast, which received human influence, using canonical correlation analysis, by comparing the plant species structure and edaphic environmental factors. The occurrence of the species that actually observed in semi-natural and artificial coast was smaller in comparison with the prediction. These coasts had low evaluation, but several coastal plant species appeared at each coast. It was suggested that a coast have the function that keeps species diversity even in the coast that received human influence. The coastal plants that have a floatable seeds at sea water appeared in natural, semi-natural and artificial coasts. On the other hand, coastal species that have no floatable seeds were only appeared in natural coasts. It was suggested that the coastal species that couldn't expand the distribution across sea by floating seeds and these natural habitats are worth to be conserved.
