Abstract

我々は,スーパーコンティニウム光源とアレイ導波路回折格子(AWG)を用いた,高密度波長分割多重(DWDM)ミリ波帯光ファイバ無線(RoF)について検討を行っている.今回,中央制御局と統合基地局での波長合分波用AWGのフィルタ特性を利用し,全チャネルの不要光側帯波を一括して抑圧することを提案する.チャネル間隔を25GHzとしたダウンリンク伝送実験では,3チャネルの60GHz帯RoF信号の25km長シングルモードファイバ伝送においてエラーフリーを達成した.伝送によるパワーペナルティーは0.3dBであった.

In this paper, we demonstrate 25-GHz-spacing optical-frequency-interleaved DWDM 60-GHz-band radio-on-fiber (RoF) downlink experiment using an supercontinium (SC) light source and arrayed-waveguide gratings (AWGs). Three AWGs are used for multiplexing/demultiplexing the SC modes. In our proposed scheme, filtering response of the AWGs is effectively used for simultaneous suppression of undesired sidebands to avoid the interchannel interference. All the 25-GHz spacing SC modes are used for downlink transmission with photonic up-conversion. Three-channel 60-GHz band RoF signals were simultaneously transmitted over 25-km standard single-mode fiber with error-free and no noticeable power penalty.
