抄録

近年，携帯電話を用いたWeb 閲覧が一般的なものとなっている．しかし，WWW 上のWeb ページのほとんどがPC での閲覧を前提としており，小さなディスプレイと貧弱な入力インタフェースしか持たない携帯電話でそのようなページを快適に閲覧することは困難である．携帯電話を用いたWeb閲覧では，まずユーザはWeb ページ全体から閲覧するコンテンツを探すため，多数のスクロール操作を行った後，そのコンテンツの内容を詳細に閲覧するため，コンテンツの特性に応じた細かで煩雑なスクロール操作を行う．そこで本論文では，ページのオーバビューを提示することでページ内で目的のコンテンツを探すためのスクロール操作を軽減し，さらに，ユーザが詳細に閲覧したいコンテンツをその特性に応じて適応的に提示することで，コンテンツを閲覧する際の細かで煩雑なスクロール操作を解消するシステムの設計と実装を行う．

Cellular phones have already been widely used to access the Web. However, most available web pages are designed for desktop PCs, and thus, it is inconvenient to browse these large web pages on a cellular phone with a small screen and poor interfaces. Users who browse a web page on a cellular phone have to scroll the whole page to .nd an objective content, and then, have to scroll within the content in detail to get useful information. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of a novel browsing system for cellular phone. This system presents an overview of a Web page to reduce scroll operations to .nd an objective content within the page, furthermore adaptively presents a content according to its characteristics to break o. burdensome operations within the content.
