量子乱流研究の最近の発展  [in Japanese] Recent Developments of the Study of Quantum Turbulence  [in Japanese]

Abstract

極低温に冷却された液体ヘリウムは量子凝縮を起こし超流動状態となる.超流動状態では,秩序変数の存在により,循環が量子化された量子渦が出現する.超流動ヘリウム中では,量子渦が三次元的に複雑にからみ合って作る超流動の乱流-量子乱流-が実現する.量子乱流の研究は,ここ十年,普通の流体が生む古典乱流との比較を念頭に,新しい段階に入った.古典乱流の最も重要な統計則であるコルモゴロフ則が量子乱流でも確認され,量子乱流の研究は,自然界の大きな謎である乱流の理解に新たな側面を切り拓くかもしれないと期待されている.本稿では,このような最新の量子乱流の研究動向と発展について紹介する.

Quantum turbulence consists of a tangle of quantized vortices, having been studied for super fluid helium in the field of low temperature physics. The recent works confirmed the Kolmogorov spectrum in quantum turbulence, casting this issue into a new stage. Quantum turbulence is expected to give a prototype of turbulence much simpler than usual classical turbulence. This article reviews such recent developments of the study of quantum turbulence.
